Could someone help me understand the final scene between Victor and Rick in Casablanca?

At one point Rick tells Victor this:

"But you didn't know she was at my place last night when you were. She came there for the letters of transit. She tried everything to get them and nothing worked. She did her best to convince me that she was still in love with me, but that was all over long ago. For your sake, she pretended it wasn't, and I let her pretend."

This last phrase "and I let her pretend", is that Rick telling Victor that he slept with Ilsa the night before, or that at least got some action with her?

Either he slept with her or he let her pretend that she wasn't in love with him so that other guy wouldn't get hurt.
It's hard to understand it when you don't know the characters and whole story

That's the thing, he said she pretended to be in love with him, pretended that it wasn't over. I get the feeling he told Victor that he banged her, just to make the final dick movement. Watch the movie, it's really good.

Gee the things people watch nowadays

If you refer to Maladiq watching Casablanca... why not? Honestly, once one grows past that "they're old, they must suck"-phase, one discovers that the timeless classics of the cinema have very often become elevated to timeless classics because they're pretty damn good. I've always liked Roman Holiday (with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck), and Gone With The Wind was very good, and I enjoy Frank Sinatras' movies although they're scarcely of the "timeless classic" category, but do have of that old time charm aplenty. And Frank Sinatra possibly was the coolest guy ever. Or maybe it's a tie with his buddy Dean Martin.

i am in the "they're new, they must suck" phase; the two good new-ish movies i've watched and can remember are Inception and Melancholia by lars von trier (some people recommended me Cloud Atlas but I haven't gotten around to watching it)
I rarely watch movies though, what I want to see now is Tarkovsky on a big screen since every movie of his i've watched was on my pc

In all honestly I appreciate older movies better due to the fact that they lacked CGI back in the days and they relied more on the other aspects. That's how I see it, at least. All of my favorite movies are before the 2000 so I think CGI has something to do with it.
Nowadays I feel like they're just making movies to milk money without even trying; they get released in a sort of unfinished state and leave a blank feeling after I watch them. The only good movie I've seen in years is the Hobbit. Which is a bummer... I love watching movies.

Oh yeah, the Dark Knight. Probably the best movie of last decade.

Lincoln, Flight, Argo, The kids are alright, Tyranosaur, HP 7.2, The King's speech, The Artist, Hugo, Up, Inglorious Basterds, Milk, There will be blood, Munich, Good night and Good Luck, Million Dollar Baby, Ray, LotR trilogy, Gangs of New York, In the bedroom, A Beautiful Mind, Chocolat, The Green Mile, The Sixth Sense, American Beauty.

These are a small fraction of the greatest movies of the last decade. I recommend There Will be Blood, Inglorious Batserds, Argo, Tyranosaur and The King's speech as the best.

The Hobbit sucked donkey balls.
